About Casandra
Dr. Casandra Barnes graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. As an undergraduate she worked full time as a dental assistant for an oral and maxillofacial surgeon — an experience that confirmed her passion for learning and for serving her community.
She went on to The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, graduating in the top 20% of her class in 2021. In dental school she was deeply involved in community service and held several leadership roles in student organizations.
Dr. Barnes has lived in Texas since 2011 and has dedicated her career to providing quality dental care to the community she serves. She is fluent in Spanish to better communicate with her patients, and strives to provide dental care she can be proud of.
