About our practice
Care Dental has served the Houston community with comprehensive dental care since 2019. We provide general, restorative, cosmetic, and specialty dentistry under one roof, so patients can access the treatments they need without being bounced between offices.
Our approach emphasizes conservative treatment, thorough explanations, and a calm, unhurried office environment. Whether you are coming in for a routine cleaning or considering a full-mouth restoration, our team takes the time to listen, explain the options, and build a plan around your goals, budget, and timeline.
General, cosmetic, implant, oral surgery, and emergency care all happen under one roof — most of our patients never need an outside referral.

Dr. Casandra Barnes, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Casandra Barnes graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. As an undergraduate she worked full time as a dental assistant for an oral and maxillofacial surgeon — an experience that confirmed her passion for learning and for serving her community.
She went on to The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, graduating in the top 20% of her class in 2021. In dental school she was deeply involved in community service and held several leadership roles in student organizations.
Dr. Barnes has lived in Texas since 2011 and has dedicated her career to providing quality dental care to the community she serves. She is fluent in Spanish to better communicate with her patients, and strives to provide dental care she can be proud of.
Fun Fact
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Barnes enjoys reading and relaxing at home with her three cats, and exploring the wonders of nature whenever time permits.
Dr. Mariyam Indawala
Prosthodontist
Dr. Mariyam Indawala is a skilled and dedicated prosthodontist with 16 years of experience in dentistry. She has practiced as a prosthodontist since 2021, the dental specialty focused on restoring and replacing teeth.
Much of her work centers on dental implants — both placing implants and crafting the restorations that complete them. She has particular depth in full-arch fixed dentures and implant-supported overdentures, helping patients rebuild a complete, stable, natural-looking smile.
Dr. Indawala brings a comprehensive understanding of prosthodontic care to every case, pairing technical precision with a focus on long-term function and comfort.
